We would be most grateful if you chose to contribute to one of the following awards presented annually by the Department of English to deserving students:
- The Orville Baker Essay Award is for the best essays submitted during the year in undergraduate courses beyond First-Year Composition.
- The Arnold B. Fox Award is for the best essays submitted during the year in graduate courses.
- The Mae Thomas Award is for excellence in essay writing by students in Communication Skills sections of First-Year Composition.
- The Maude Uhland Award is for excellence in First-Year Composition.
- The Queen Victoria Hardison Award is for excellence in peer tutoring.
- The Gail White Award is for excellence in tutoring.
Donations are also being accepted to assist Instructors and Teaching Assistants who wish to attend the Allerton Articulation Conference. More...
