Title: TOPICS IN TECHNICAL COMMUNICATION

Course Topic:  Technical Communication in the Digital Age. Studies in selected topics of special interest to students, teachers, and practitioners of written technical communication.  This course consists of seven Saturday workshops (9:00 am - 4:00 pm) at the NIU-Naperville campus, June 18 – July 30. Each workshop is led by an industry expert on a topic related to technical writing and digital communication. The workshops are interactive, using activities, exercises, role-playing, discussion groups, or other formats to encourage participation and enhance learning. Coursework consists of hands-on activities with digital media, a blog journal, a research paper, and a class presentation. No prior experience with technology is needed. (Meets with ENGL 624 CE1)
