| Detailed Course Description: “Perhaps the truth depends on a walk around the lake.” Wallace Stevens This course is the second in the sequence of poetry workshops; we'll focus on shaping and expanding your writing toward a chapbook of your poems. Participants will explore innovative strategies, read and write steadily throughout the semester, investigate the activity of publishing, and compile a small collection for submission. The successful participants will display a commitment to reading and attempting to refine and articulate a poetic aesthetic, and be positive and active participants in this serious workshop environment.
