| Detailed Course Description: This class will give you some practical tools to use as you begin teaching, but more than that, it is intended to help you begin building an attitude toward English teaching that will help you to grow throughout your career. You will be asked to think not only about the kinds of writing instruction you want to provide but about how this instruction will benefit individual learners and fit within wider curricular goals. As you evaluate, synthesize, and create teaching ideas, you will be expected to demonstrate a willingness to move out of your personal comfort zone in order to take the kinds of risks needed for personal and professional development. | ||||||
