| Detailed Course Description: This advanced writing course is for students who have already mastered the basics of written composition and wish to improve their skills to become strong writers. We will develop close reading skills of published as a way to critically examine our own texts. We will discuss methods of drafting, editing and fine polishing essays. Our class time will be devoted to discussion and practice: brainstorming and planning, drafting and evaluating (individually and in groups) our essays.
