| Detailed Course Description:HONORS Honors We will read a variety of medieval and early modern literature focusing on King Arthur and his court. Middle English texts will be read in the original language; we’ll use translations for non-English texts. Classes will typically include some combination of lecture, discussion, and a participatory activity.

| Course Requirements: There will be three short papers (2 pages each), two translation quizzes, and weekly homework or in-class writing exercises designed to help you understand the reading and prepare for the quizzes and papers.
