Track I

Track I is designed to prepare students for graduate work at the doctoral level. A student pursuing an M.A. under this option must:

• earn a minimum of 30 semester hours of graduate credit in the Department of English
• pass a proficiency examination in one foreign language
• pass a comprehensive examination after completing a minimum of 24 semester hours.
