Submission Forms for Computers and Writing 1999

Thanks for submitting a proposal to the Fifteenth Computers and Writing Conference. If you have not yet done so, please read the Call for Proposals and take note of the theme and guidelines.

Although we will not strictly limit the number of proposals on which your name may appear, the program committee will make every effort to involve new faces in the program.

Please choose the most appropriate format for your proposal from the links below. When you have finished, click on "submit". You should then see a screen thanking you for your submission, and you will also be e-mailed a confirmation.

If you have problems using the online forms, please try again at another time when the net is likely to have less traffic, such as late at night or early in the morning. If you still do not succeed, please e-mail your proposal, with the category clearly indicated, to cw99@silver.sdsmt.edu. You will be sent confirmation that your proposal has been received.

Submit an Individual Presentation Proposal

Use this form to submit a proposal for an individual presentation of about 20 minutes, which will be grouped with two other similar presentations in a 75 minute session.

Submit a Panel Proposal

Use this form to submit a proposal for a 75 minute presentation with 3 speakers.

Submit a Forum/Roundtable Proposal

Use this form to submit a proposal for a 75 minute presentation with 4 or more short position statements and plenty of audience interaction.

Submit a Workshop Proposal

Use this form to submit a proposal for a full or half day workshop. Full and half day workshops will be held Thursday, May 27th, and half day workshops the afternoon of Sunday, May 30. Please note your equipment needs, and indicate whether you have a limitation as to when your workshop can take place. Remember that competition for Thursday workshops can be fierce, so your willingness to present on Sunday afternoon may give your workshop better odds of being accepted.

Submit a Poster Session Proposal

Use this form to submit a proposal for a poster presentation. Posters will be in a central location in the student union, and are ideal for those who want to display graphics and chat informally with attendees about their projects.

A big thanks to Dylan Northrup, Anthony Rue, and the entire team at the University of Florida for giving us the submission scripts and helping us make them work, and to Steve Bauer for making them work at SDSM&T!
