- Go to social and
professional events, such as lectures, across campus, and make an
effort to meet others
- Invite colleagues inside
and outside the department to go to lunch, and solicit opinions
- Join the faculty
internet discussion group, and ask questions
Outside the
university:
- Read articles and books
about WPA and computers and writing work
- Read the WPA-L and
Techrhet listserv and ask questions
- Go to sessions at CCCC,
C & W, and other conferences
- Host your own blog and
solicit feedback
- Get involved in outreach
