How Do I Post/Reply to a Message?
 

Introduction


There are two methods for sending messages to Webboard.    The first, Posting, is used to send a new message.  The second, Replying, is used to send a reply to a previous message.  Posts are listed directly under the conference name, while replies are "threaded" under the message being replied to.  There are three ways to post a message and two ways to reply to a message.

To post a message, follow the steps in the table below.
 
Step Action
1 Click on the conference you'd like to post to.
2 Click POST in one of the following places:
  • on the menu bar at the top of the screen,
  • on the action bar above any message, or
  • at the bottom of an already posted message.
3 Type a topic in the topic line.
4 Type your message in the message box.
5 Click on the POST button located next to the topic line or underneath the message box.

Note: You might have to click REFRESH on the menu bar before you can view your message.


 
 
 
 
 


Replying to a message
Step Action
1 Open the message you want to reply to.
2 Click REPLY in one of the following places:
  • on the action bar above the message
  • at the bottom of the message.
3 Type a topic in the topic line.
4 Type your message in the message box.
5 Click on the POST button located next to the topic line, or underneath the message box.

Note: You might have to click REFRESH on the menu bar before you can view your message.
