Professional Interests


Knapp has been interested for many years in the interdisciplinary relationships between several sub-disciplines in psychology (family systems, cognition, evolutionary psychology, and temperament) and literature/literary criticism. He has also been educating teachers through-out his career and focuses on professorial expertise in teaching literature. Since 2010, Knapp has been a reviewer of teacher education programs in other states for the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education.
