Reference Materials

Huge framed collection of writing resources, organized and mostly published out of Colorado State U. I recommend this site very highly. Though browsing through the frames can get old quickly, the consequent organization is worth the hassle.

Literacy Education Online
When it works, this is a great site, with a ton of very useful tools for writers. The server can be a bit unreliable, though, so use this site mainly during off-peak hours. (http://leo.stcloud.msus.edu/)

Elements of Style
The Strunk and White classic. Still one of the better writing guides around, though not as complete as some of the other sites listed above. (http://www.cc.columbia.edu/acis/bartleby/strunk/)

Indispensable Writing Resources Page
Sort of a tease, this site is actually more of an advertisement than anything else. Still, it does offer a decent set of links to both printed and electronic resources, and so it makes this list.
