Technology: Undergraduate Program

Faculty in the Undergraduate Program utilize many technological resources in the teaching of literature, film, and professional writing, and several have developed innovative projects to create truly dynamic and interactive learning experiences for their students. In addition, the Technical and Professional Writing Program specializes in helping students master current technologies used in the production of professional writing.

Resources available to the faculty include the use of "Smart Classrooms" for teaching, the use of the Blackboard electronic learning environment supported by the University, as well as resources developed and hosted on the department's own web servers.

Just two of the projects used or developed in the undergraduate program include the online grammar textbook, Interactive Grammar, and the American Literature Resources project.
