Rhetoric Notes
The documents in Rhetoric Notes have been written in the context
of Dale Sullivan's graduate rhetoric classes.
Most have been written by students as introductory papers or handouts,
but some are brief notes from established rhetoric theorists who have
responed to requests for clarification. It is hoped that these notes will
provide
starting places for people new to the field of rhetoric. Most have a
works cited page or bibliography which should lead into the literature on
the subject. I am indebted to the
