Writers' Block:
A Neighborhood of Scholars is a print journal designed as a forum dedicated to providing the NIU Department of English graduate student community with an overview of the wide variety of research that engages its members.

To celebrate and encourage further graduate research, we invite submissions from graduate students in the Department of English on any topic in literature, linguistics, film studies, media, technical communication, or pedagogy. Acceptance is based on a blind peer review process. Editorial staff are graduate students in the Department of English.
